Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed his sympathies for the damage and loss of life caused by the catastrophic earthquake in the North African nation. In an official statement, the Pakistani Prime Minister lamented the tragic loss of lives resulting from this natural disaster and offered heartfelt condolences to the Moroccan government and its people. He also conveyed his sympathies to the families affected by the earthquake.
In a social media post, Prime Minister Kakar emphasized unity and support for Morocco during this time of grief. He stated that Pakistan shares the sorrow of those impacted by the severe earthquake in Morocco and extends its hand in unity and support.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Kakar pledged Islamabad’s unwavering support to the Moroccan population and government, assuring them of all possible assistance in coping with the aftermath of the earthquake. Other Pakistani politicians, including former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, also expressed their condolences for the devastation caused by the quake.
