Asia Cup 2023: Rain Threatens Pakistan vs. India Super 4 Match

Rain could once again disrupt the highly anticipated Super 4 stage clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India, scheduled to take place at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo on September 10th (Sunday) in the afternoon.

There are concerns about possible rain interruptions, with significant chances of precipitation even on the reserve day, September 11th, if the match cannot be completed on September 10th.

According to AccuWeather.com, there is a high likelihood of rain throughout the day following some morning sunshine. Thunderstorms in the afternoon could potentially delay the toss and the start of the match. The forecast indicates even heavier rains on the reserve day, with a 99 percent chance of precipitation, potentially lasting for up to six hours.

Weather.com predicts overcast conditions with a 90 percent chance of rain on match day. Meanwhile, The Weather Channel anticipates daily thunderstorms in Colombo until the conclusion of the Asia Cup in 2023.
