In the 1970s, an undercover Indian spy takes on a deadly mission to expose a covert nuclear weapons program in the heart of Pakistan.

Mission Majnu is comparable to a well-known Bollywood spy drama that you have seen in the past.

Despite the fact that the plot contains some new components, the atmosphere is still the same. As a result, the timeline is focused on the 1970s, when Pakistan and India were engaged in a spy war.

In order to uncover and obliterate a clandestine nuclear weapons program in Pakistan, an undercover Indian spy (clearly Sidharth) named Amandeep is dispatched there.

There are several goosebumps-inducing scenes throughout the movie that you shouldn’t miss. Without a question, Sidharth is the protagonist of the tale. He certainly is the core of the story because of his incredible acting, timing, and connection with Rashmika.

While the director attempted to give the narrative a fresh perspective, he ultimately gave us several sequences and plotlines that we have already seen in numerous Bollywood spy thrillers.

But, that doesn’t change the fact that it is less entertaining. If you watch the entire movie, you’ll have a truly enjoyable two hours. So watch it right away if you have a Netflix subscription!

Shantanu Bagchi is the director of the Bollywood drama Mission Majnu. Together with Abhinay Raj Singh, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, and many others in supporting roles, the film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in the key roles.

The cinematography was performed by Bijitesh De, and Manjunath Ganesh edited the movie. Subhodip Sarkar scored the background music for this movie, while Shantanu Moitra wrote the music. Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta are responsible for producing the movie, which is released on Netflix under the auspices of RSVP Movies and Guilty By Association Media.

The story of India’s deadliest RAW mission inside Pakistan is told in the movie Mission Majnu. Sidharth portrayed a naive agent who gave his life to India in order to witness a Pakistani plot to topple India. The movie Mission Majnu served as Rashmika Mandanna’s formal film debut. Yet due to numerous delays with the film, Farewell (2022) ended up becoming her Bollywood debut.
