The interim government has declared a public holiday on September 29, 2023 (Friday) in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1445 A.H.).
The official notification from the cabinet division reads: “It is hereby notified that the Prime Minister has approved the declaration of September 29, 2023 (Friday) as a public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1445 A.H.).”

Since Eid Milad-un-Nabi falls on a Friday, a weekend day, most government and private institutions, including schools and colleges, will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday, extending the holiday period.
